The Faulks

The groomsmen climb a tree, a glowing bouquet?! and the page boy asks the barman for a drink. Sorry buddy, had to dob you in!

Kylie & Luke decided to get married in the same church that Kylies parents and grandparents had gotten married in. Safe to say that it was an incredibly sentimental gesture that warmed hearts. However, Luke definitely put a fresh spin on it all by taking off his shoes and showing his socks off during the ceremony! We also recreated a few shots that Kylie’s parents got at the church which was a good bit of nostalgic fun.

If you’re ever unsure about what to do after your ceremony, have a picnic WITH a parasol and thank me later. Follow it up with a sunset on the beach (Athol Hall bringing the goods once again!) and don’t forget to dip your toes in the water, even if it’s the middle of August, like these guys did.

This was such a great day, but I won’t lie to you, my excitement peaked when I found out that Kylie and Luke’s wedding cake was no normal wedding cake. Not only was it SEVEN tiers, but it was seven tiers of seven DIFFERENT KINDS OF CHEESE! Which had all been sampled and selected by the bridge and groom. So so excellent.

The night still wasn’t over yet because we still had one more fun thing to do. Kylie had told me that she had tried to get permission to have a professional fireworks display put on for Luke, but was sadly denied. I figured I could help out, so I may nor may not have provided some B-grade options for their enjoyment. Dunno how they got there to be honest… but it looked great and no one was hurt in the making of this totally safe awesomeness.

And at the end of the night, the only one who was really hurt was their poor 4WD which got cling wrapped and confetti-ed and banana-in-the-tail-piped-ed. It’s all sparklers and smiles until there’s a tropical fruit pop, people!
