The Xiongs

An elaborate bridal party photo, lunch at a cafe and some rainy day harbour views!

Bec and Ji Jun; these guys are such kind souls.

They both overcame many physical and emotional obstacles in the lead up to their wedding day, yet they just exuded joy! The first thing Bec said to me on the morning was along the lines of, ‘How are you? Can I do anything for you, do you need any food?’ My first response was ‘That’s so nice but I’m totally fine and you’re getting married in like 3 minutes, so let’s focus on that!’ So incredibly kind, and this was a testament to Bec and Ji Jun’s compassionate hearts for those around them.

After getting ready and heading to the church, they got super duper married! Ah Ji Jun, you cried which made me cry; I just can’t resist a beautiful moment! We had a bit of time to kill after the ceremony so Bec and Ji Jun took everyone out to lunch at a sweet joint called Bare Witness. So when it came to taking photos, there wasn’t a ‘hangry’ person in sight!

As we were arriving in Woolwich for some bridal party photos, I may or may not have introduced everyone to the “bad” version of ‘O Holy Night’ (this is relevant, I promise, as it was getting close Christmas). Here’s the link to what I mean… thank me or hate me later… it makes me cry laugh at least once and year and if that’s not the joy of the season then I don’t know what is! Everyone was well fed and giggling, which made for a great starting point for creating fun photos! The rain came in but it didn’t dampen any spirits at all! We got some shots with umbrellas and i nearly lost mine to the harbour, but thankfully the boys rescued it. MYBAD!

The night carried on with many hilarious quips from the amazing MC’s, a bit of classic heads or tails questions about the bride & groom, but most wonderful of all was when their MC’s prayed over them and they marriage to end the evening.
